Market Exclusivity Policy for Contractors

GBC Digital Marketing limits how many contractors we work with per trade in each city. We do this to protect results, keep things fair, and make sure every client has room to grow.

Why We Have an Exclusivity Policy

In smaller cities, there are only so many people searching for services like roofing, fence install, or plumbing. If we took too many companies in the same trade, it would hurt performance for everyone.

In large metro areas, search demand is much bigger. There are more neighborhoods, more searches, and more calls to go around. That is why our exclusivity policy is based on city size. In a city of 300,000 people, there might be 30 roof repair searches a day. In a city of 3 million, there might be 600 a day. So instead of a hard one-company rule everywhere, we cap clients based on population and demand. That lets us grow while still delivering real results and protecting our clients.

These are hard caps. We do not stack unlimited clients. Most companies still get turned away.

What This Does and Does Not Mean

  • We limit competition so your marketing has room to win.
  • We match the cap to the real amount of search demand in the market.
  • We stay selective. We are built for contractors only.

What it does not mean

  • We do not run the same strategy for two companies in the same trade and area.
  • We do not share reporting, data, or insights between clients.
  • We do not take every company that asks.

How We Protect Results in Large Cities

In major metros, we can support more than one contractor in the same trade because demand is bigger. We also build each client’s plan around their strengths and their best lead sources.

We protect performance by:

  • Using different service focus, like repair work versus full replacement
  • Prioritizing different neighborhoods or suburbs
  • Tailoring website messaging and proof
  • Customizing content angles based on what customers ask

Bottom line: we protect performance. If we cannot protect performance, we do not add another client.
